Photographic Achievments: Image published
in Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) Journey One.
Image sold at auction for “Make Poverty History”
Qualifications: BSc in Psychology and
MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology. Hopefully one in Photography very
soon!
Claim to fame: I recently had a job
photographing McFly – but have to confess to looking them
up on the internet to learn their names first!
Worst Job: Picking apples in New Zealand
for 10 hours a day in the winter with only one glove!
Best job: Working with children with
special needs. The challenges, the rewards, the tantrums –
all of it!
Interests: I am a keen traveller and
love to scuba dive (only in 30 degrees plus) and spent 5 years overseas
before returning to England and Leigh-on-sea. I of course love taking
photos and to capture a break in the clouds, a precious moment or
a fleeting glance is always a moment to celebrate.
Favourite Places: I have many. I couldn’t
possibly choose - but watching an electrical storm in the middle
of the night on Mt Everest is one - but you can’t beat half
a Guinness in the Crooked Billet in Old Leigh.
Favorite Books: Memoirs of a Geisha,
The Kiterunner and Richard Hammonds Autobiography.
Favourite Moments:
Watching my two children jumping on my bed with the devil in their
eyes!
